Hamm – The ZDF program “Aktenzeichen XY… Ungelöst” is known for presenting unsolved criminal cases to a wide audience and thereby collecting new clues. In the latest edition, which was broadcast on Wednesday, September 11, three prominent TV personalities attracted particular attention by re-enacting the tragic murder of Claudia Wilbert in 1979.

The actress Julia Biedermann (57), known from numerous TV productions such as “I'm marrying a family”, “A castle on Lake Wörthersee” and “The country doctor”, played the role of the mother of the kidnapped and murdered girl in the “Aktenzeichen XY” episode. On her side was Thorsten Nindel (59), who is known from the series “Lindenstraße” and appearances in “Tatort” and “Inga Lindström” films, as the father of Claudia Wilbert.

John Friedmann (53), who became known primarily through his role as Erkan Maria Moosleitner in the cult comedy duo “Erkan and Stefan”, was also part of the cast. In the edition of “Aktenzeichen XY… Ungelöst” hosted by Rudi Cerne (65), the Frankfurt native played the detective Reinders and contributed to the filmic reenactment of the case. In an earlier episode, the mother of a “Tatort” star played a central role.

“Aktenzeichen XY” presents the case of the murdered Claudia Wilbert – New clues after TV broadcast

The murder of 17-year-old Claudia Wilbert from near Bonn remains unsolved to this day. After a school event on March 28, 1979, she was kidnapped and found dead two days later. The case is known as a “cold case” – an unsolved crime. By broadcasting the case on “Aktenzeichen XY,” investigators hope that the media attention will bring new clues from the public.

The show did indeed bring new developments into the autumn. Chief Detective Fabian Puchelt from the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office reported that numerous tips were received after the TV broadcast.
