LaNorris Sellers limped in the game against LSU after apparently sustaining a leg injury

LaNorris Sellers unfortunately had to leave the game against LSU.

The quarterback suffered a leg injury late in the first half and was not on the field for the team's first possession of the second half. Sellers was seen with tape on his lower leg and limping on the sideline before halftime.

Shane Beamer did not rule out Sellers' return, but the quarterback obviously seemed to be in pain.

However, ESPN’s Holly Rowe reported that Sellers would “try to play” in the second half:

Robby Ashford got the snaps as QB on the first drive of the second half, but the Gamecocks made it 3-and-out.

After the Gamecocks got the ball back, Sellers returned to the field.

On the team's second drive of the first half, Sellers handed the ball off twice and then completed a 1-yard pass. The Gamecocks were forced to punt again and hold a 2-point lead entering the 4th quarter.

Ashford then returned to the field for South Carolina's third series of the half.

South Carolina's double-digit lead over LSU evaporated in the second half. The Tigers scored 14 points in the second half while South Carolina managed just 1 yard on its first two drives after halftime.
